About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Quality Management Consultant to join our growing team in Hungary. If you are passionate about the future of automotive quality and enjoy solving complex challenges at a variety of top-tier companies, this role is for you.
In this position, you won't be tied to a single factory floor. Instead, you will work as a consultant on diverse projects for different clients within the automotive industry. Your tasks will be dynamic, ranging from high-level concept development to hands-on process improvement.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead quality projects focused on optimizing the value network, supplier enablement, and management.
- Drive the defect elimination process in ongoing series production at both automotive suppliers and OEMs.
- Develop and implement concepts for demand planning, program planning, capacity management, and order processing.
- Conduct process audits according to VDA 6.3 and perform potential analyses for suppliers during the award phase.
- Establish and further develop Quality Management Systems in line with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Secure the supply chain by proactively reducing reject rates at automotive suppliers.
Who You Are:
- Experienced: You have a completed academic degree, ideally in engineering or a related technical field, and at least 3 years of professional experience in quality management within the automotive industry or a management consultancy.
- A Quality Expert: You have a deep understanding of core tools and standards like VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949.
- A Pragmatic Doer: You think conceptually but are also results-oriented and capable of implementing solutions on-site.
- Tech-Savvy & People-Oriented: You have digital expertise and always keep the human element in mind when driving change.
- Multilingual: business English is essential and German is a plus

Conditions & Location:
- Contract: Full-time employment contract.
- Work Model: This role requires up to 100% on-site presence at customer locations in EU countries (with a focus on the Budapest and Debrecen areas), especially during the first months of a project. Otherwise, remote work is possible.
