California Civil PE – Guam Expansion Support
Clayborn Group is seeking a California-licensed Civil Professional Engineer to support our planned expansion into Guam.
The purpose of this posting is to find a qualified PE who can help Clayborn establish a compliant engineering presence for future Guam work, including Guam PE registration/comity, technical review, and civil/structural engineering support.
This is not a plan-stamping-only role. The selected engineer must provide meaningful technical involvement and responsible control over assigned work.
We need applicants who have:
- Active California Civil PE license
- Passed the California Civil Seismic Principles / CSCS exam
- Willingness and eligibility to apply for Guam Civil PE registration by comity
- Civil or structural building experience
- Experience reviewing drawings, calculations, and permit documents
- Ability to coordinate with a remote drafting/project team
Preferred:
- NCEES Record
- Guam PE registration or Guam PEALS familiarity
- Structural design experience
- Seismic and wind-design experience
- Residential or commercial building project experience
Main responsibilities:
- Support Clayborn’s Guam expansion and PE registration process
- Assist with Guam PE comity/application requirements
- Review drawings, calculations, and permit documents
- Provide civil/structural guidance within your area of competence
- Help establish compliant engineering procedures for Guam work
- Coordinate with Clayborn’s remote architecture and drafting team
Compensation:
- To be discussed based on license status, experience, availability, and level of involvement.
Work arrangement:
- Remote / consulting basis. Details to be discussed with qualified applicants.
