Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field testing on fresh concrete and perform soil compaction and density testing to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Review structural components during special inspections, documenting findings to support project integrity.
- Accurately document daily field findings, providing essential data for project teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with diverse project teams to address testing needs and contribute to project success.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards during testing procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 months of construction materials testing experience or a recent Civil/Construction Technology degree is required.
- Hands-on experience in soils, concrete, or asphalt testing is essential for this role.
- Candidates must possess ACI Grade I or nuclear gauge certification.
- The ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and project plans is necessary for success in this position.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory for travel to various job sites.
