We Are Hiring: Cost Estimation Engineer — Mechanical / Industrial
M/s EduTech Lahore is hiring a Cost Estimation Engineer for a dedicated engineering team supporting a KSA-based industrial client.
Job Location: Lake City Meadows, Lahore
Job Type: Full-time, on-siteRequirements
- DAE Mechanical, B.Tech Mechanical or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical or industrial cost estimation.
- Strong understanding of fabrication, welding, machining and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to prepare MTOs, BOQs and detailed cost estimates.
- Experience evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, specifications and datasheets.
- Experience with pressure vessels, tanks, boilers, skid packages or fabricated equipment will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Review RFQs, drawings and technical specifications
- .Prepare material take-offs, BOQs and cost estimates
- .Estimate material, labour, fabrication, testing, packing and transportation costs
- .Obtain and compare vendor quotations
- .Prepare detailed costing sheets, assumptions, exclusions and risk allowances
- .Maintain material, labour and supplier-rate databases
- .Support value engineering and budget-versus-actual cost analysis
