𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘄𝗵𝗶𝘇 is seeking an experienced 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 to manage and optimize enterprise backup, disaster recovery, replication, and business continuity solutions. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, recoverability, and protection of critical business data across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with backup technologies, disaster recovery platforms, continuous data protection, and recovery testing to ensure organizational resilience against outages, cyber threats, and operational disruptions.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
• Administer Veeam Backup & Replication environments.
• Manage Dell Avamar and Data Domain infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain Zerto disaster recovery solutions.
• Implement Continuous Data Protection (CDP) and replication strategies.
• Configure and manage Zerto Virtual Manager (ZVM), Virtual Replication Appliances (VRAs), and Virtual Protection Groups (VPGs).
• Monitor backup jobs, repository health, storage utilization, and system performance.
• Perform backup validation, recovery testing, and restoration activities.
• Conduct disaster recovery drills and failover testing.
• Maintain Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
• Implement immutable, air-gapped, and ransomware-resistant backup solutions.
• Apply patches, upgrades, and firmware updates to backup and recovery platforms.
• Troubleshoot backup, replication, storage, and recovery-related issues.
• Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on resiliency improvements.
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Experience administering Dell Avamar and Data Domain environments.
• Strong knowledge of Zerto disaster recovery and replication solutions.
• Experience with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage environments.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, firewalls, and replication technologies.
• Experience conducting disaster recovery testing and business continuity exercises.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀
• Veeam VMCE Certification.
• Zerto Certification.
• Experience with Azure Site Recovery and AWS Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Knowledge of ransomware recovery strategies and immutable backup architectures.
• Experience with cloud migrations and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with business continuity frameworks and best practices.
