Role Summary
Finishing is a leadership role and we are looking for a seasoned Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Finishing Works to oversee and guide the execution of high-quality finishing activities across our building construction projects. The SME will ensure adherence to design intent, specifications, and industry best practices, while driving timely completion and excellence in workmanship.
Key responsibilities
- Review and validate finishing specifications, mock-ups, and material selections.
- Provide expert guidance on finishing works including plastering, painting, flooring, false ceiling, joinery, and façade finishes.
- Provide expert guidance on finishing material selection.
- Monitor execution quality and ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and site teams to resolve design and execution challenges.
- Conduct regular site audits and issue non-conformance reports with corrective actions.
- Develop finishing work checklists, QA/QC protocols, and acceptance criteria.
- Support in vendor evaluation and selection for finishing packages.
- Train site engineers and contractors on finishing techniques and quality benchmarks.
- Ensure timely completion of finishing works aligned with project milestones.
- Take complete control of design control floor/unit in in terms of SOP and implementation
- Explore new technologies and methods to fast track and deliver better product, reduction of labour involvement (robotics and other methods)
