Our client, a leading Global consultancy, is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding projects team on a long-term contract based s is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of prestigious MEP projects within one of the UK’s busiest and most technically demanding environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering innovative mechanical design solutions while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.
The Role As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for producing mechanical building services designs for a variety of commercial and infrastructure projects. You will support the Mechanical Design Manager, work closely with multidisciplinary design teams, and work closely with the management team.
Key Responsibilities Produce detailed mechanical building services designs Support the Mechanical Design Manager in the successful delivery of multiple projects. Prepare design calculations, specifications and technical documentation. Coordinate designs with clients, consultants and other engineering disciplines. Ensure all designs comply with current Building Regulations, British Standards and industry best practice. Manage your workload to deliver projects on time and within budget.
About You To be considered for this role, you should have:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer within the Building Services sector. Strong knowledge of mechanical building services design. Experience working on commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to represent the business in meetings with clients and stakeholders. The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a project team. What’s on Offer Long-term contract with a Global consultancy.
