Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
- Manage Linux-based servers, virtual machines, networking, and cloud resources.
- Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, and performance.
- Optimize infrastructure costs while ensuring high availability.
- Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Improve deployment reliability and minimize downtime during releases.
- Support blue-green and rolling deployment strategies where applicable.
- Build and maintain Docker container environments.
- Optimize container orchestration for scalability and resilience.
- Maintain container registries and image security.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions for automated provisioning.
- Automate server configuration, environment setup, and deployment workflows.
- Monitor application uptime, infrastructure performance, and resource utilization.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents.
- Implement infrastructure security best practices.
- Manage firewalls, SSL certificates, DNS, VPNs, and access control.
- Ensure secure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
- Collaborate with the Data Security team on compliance initiatives.
- Optimize application hosting environments for speed and reliability.
- Improve database and server performance.
- Conduct load testing and performance optimization.
- Support development teams by maintaining reliable development, staging, and production environments.
- Research emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and automation frameworks.
- Evaluate AI-powered DevOps (AIOps) solutions.
- Recommend infrastructure improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are highly preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, System Administration, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Experience deploying and managing cloud-based production applications.
- Experience supporting modern web applications, SaaS platforms, or enterprise software.
- Preferred associate level certification in Amazon Web Services (AWS) as Solution Architect, SyOps Administrator, Developer, or in Kubernetes as System Administrator, Security Specialist, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer.
- Have technical skills in Docker, CI/CD & Automation, GitHub Actions.
- Have worked in infrastructures; Nginx, Apache (basic knowledge), Load Balancers, Reverse Proxy Configuration, DNS Management
- Have experience in security infrastructures; SSL/TLS, Firewall Configuration, VPN, IAM (Identity & Access Management), Secrets Management, Backup & Disaster Recovery
