Role Description The Director role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Manresa Metropolitan Area. The Director will oversee daily operations, ensuring that production, maintenance, and support functions align with company goals and quality standards. Responsibilities include setting strategic objectives, managing budgets, leading and developing teams, and monitoring performance metrics to drive efficiency and growth. The role will coordinate cross-functional activities, foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders. The Director will also ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, while identifying opportunities for innovation and business development.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills, including team development, performance management, and the ability to influence and motivate diverse groups.
- Operational and strategic planning skills, with experience in overseeing production processes, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders.
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and interpreting key business metrics to support decision-making.
- Knowledge of industrial or machinery environments, with an understanding of safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership or director-level role, preferably within manufacturing, machinery, or industrial sectors.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Manresa Metropolitan Area and commit to a full-time schedule.
- Proficiency in Spanish and working knowledge of English; additional languages are an asset.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on results and accountability.
