Responsibilities
- Design and deliver electrical systems for complex building and infrastructure projects across a variety of sectors.
- Collaborate with mechanical and multidisciplinary teams to integrate innovative, coordinated design solutions.
- Apply sustainable design principles to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
- Prepare and support technical documentation in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Contribute to client‑focused solutions that enhance system safety, performance, and reliability.
- Support project teams through design development, coordination, and delivery phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent accredited program.
- Eligibility for Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) designation, with a commitment to obtaining P.Eng. licensure.
- Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.
- Working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and building electrical systems.
- A strong interest in innovation, sustainability, and continuous professional development.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Reliability Security Clearance, including a minimum of five (5) years of verifiable and uninterrupted residency in Canada.
Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $73,400 – $97,200
MB & ON: $67,000 – $92,200
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $66,300 – $88,000
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
