You will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and manufacturing teams to translate technical requirements into practical applications, while also supporting production by addressing real-time challenges as they arise. What will you do Design and deliver technical solutions for low-voltage electrical distribution equipment, including the development of schematics, layouts, and supporting system documentation. Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including single-line diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials, ensuring alignment with standards and project requirements. Interpret customer specifications and technical requirements to support the development of practical and reliable solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in close collaboration with manufacturing teams, contributing to problem-solving during equipment build and production. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across design and production phases. Support production by responding to technical questions and addressing challenges that arise during manufacturing. Participate in technical reviews, project kick-offs, and production meetings, contributing to project execution and delivery.

Manage priorities and timelines to meet project deliverables and support overall execution. What qualifications will make you successful? What you bring A background in Electrical Engineering or a related field, which may include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience Experience working with engineering tools such as AutoCAD A solid understanding of low-voltage electrical systems and the ability to apply fundamental electrical concepts Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including single-line diagrams, schematics, and equipment layouts Familiarity with electrical codes and standards such as CSA (Canadian Standards Association), ANSI (American National Standards Institute), or IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), or willingness to learn and apply them Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams You might also have Exposure to medium-voltage (MV) systems
