Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Engineering and Maintenance Manager role based in Bandung. The role is responsible for leading the engineering and maintenance team to ensure all factory, operations, and facility equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Day-to-day activities include planning and overseeing preventive maintenance programs, coordinating repair activities, and managing maintenance schedules and resources. The Engineering and Maintenance Manager will monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement improvement projects to reduce downtime and maintenance costs. The role also involves developing standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, collaborating with operations and production teams, managing vendor relationships, and reporting maintenance performance to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Engineering & Maintenance Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, troubleshooting, and automation
  • Proven experience in managing Electrical, Mechanical, and Utility systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Strong understanding of food manufacturing equipment, maintenance planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Familiar with GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and other relevant manufacturing standards
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
