Job Objective
Lead and manage the engineering team responsible for metal assembly and stamping operations, ensuring stable manufacturing processes, product quality, production efficiency, safety compliance, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, assign, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers supporting metal assembly and stamping operations.
- Manage and continuously improve manufacturing processes to meet technical requirements, customer standards, and quality system requirements.
- Provide technical support for production issues related to metal stamping, assembly processes, tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for manufacturing problems.
- Implement continuous improvement activities to improve productivity, reduce scrap, reduce cycle time, and optimize manufacturing costs.
- Manage engineering changes and process changes to ensure proper evaluation and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Design Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve technical issues.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process specifications, control plans, PFMEA, and standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, production trials, and manufacturing readiness activities.
- Ensure stamping and assembly processes comply with safety, quality, and operational requirements.
- Train and coach engineers and production teams on technical standards, problem-solving methods, and process improvement practices.
