PT Bumi Mas Jaya Perkasa, established in 2007 in Tangerang, Indonesia, specializes in retrofitting and rehabilitating civil structures across marine, oil & gas, power plant, and commercial sectors. With 300+ completed projects, we are experienced in Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) applications and offer services including protective coatings, waterproofing, fireproofing, and HDPE pile protection.
We are currently looking for a Engineer Manager to join our growing team.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Engineering Department to ensure all engineering activities are aligned with company standards and project requirements.
- Review and approve designs, technical calculations, engineering drawings, construction methodologies, and other engineering documents.
- Develop team capabilities, engineering processes, and technical standards to improve departmental quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and Project teams in tender preparation, project execution, and resolution of technical issues.
- Provide technical guidance and solutions to support successful project delivery and business operations.
- Ensure all engineering outputs comply with applicable quality, safety, regulatory, and technical requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading an engineering team.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, power generation, petrochemical, or related industrial projects is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis, engineering design, construction methods, and technical problem-solving.
- Experience in coating, lining, waterproofing, or structural rehabilitation projects is an advantage.
- Able to review engineering drawings, technical calculations, and engineering documentation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering software.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and decision-making skills.
- Able to work effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Willing to travel and conduct site visits as required.
