We are looking for a hands-on and customer-focused Field & Installed Base Engineer to represent our company as our permanent technical presence in South Jordan. This role is key to protecting and growing our original equipment manufacturer (OEM) installed base, strengthening client relationships, and identifying service and business opportunities across the region.
About the Role
You will serve as the frontline technical representative, supporting customers on-site, maintaining visibility of installed equipment, and contributing valuable market insights that support service and sales growth.
Coverage Area
Aqaba, Karak, Tafila, and Ma’an
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular site visits to maintain strong client engagement and technical presence.
• Provide on-site technical support and ensure timely response to customer needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted technical partner.
• Maintain an accurate register of the installed base, including OEM details, models, and equipment condition.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify risks, service needs, and improvement opportunities.
• Identify service, retrofit, upgrade, and replacement opportunities within the installed base.
• Support early engagement in tenders by sharing field insights and market intelligence.
• Contribute to pipeline development and support commercial and business development activities.
• Coordinate closely with head office and OEM principals to align technical and commercial efforts.
• Prepare structured monthly field reports covering activities, findings, and opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of field experience in mechanical or industrial environments
• Experience in Potash, Bromine, or Cement industries is a strong advantage
• Fluency in Arabic and English
