* About the Role:
* Acorn Safety Services is seeking an experienced
* Fire Risk Assessor
* to join our growing safety consultancy team.
In this role, you’ll carry out
* fire risk assessments, audits, and fire door inspections
* across a variety of commercial and domestic sites. You’ll be responsible for producing clear, practical reports and advising clients on how to stay compliant with fire safety regulations.
This is a
* full-time employed role
* with structured working, national travel, and company support.
* What You’ll Be Doing:
* * Conduct fire risk assessments at client sites across the UK
* Complete fire door inspections
* Review fire safety documentation and procedures
* Produce written reports and risk assessment documents
* Provide up-to-date fire safety advice based on current legislation
* Ensure reports are returned within 10 working days
* What We’re Looking For:
* * At least
* 2 years’ experience
* in fire risk assessments
* * NEBOSH Fire Certificate
* or equivalent (required)
* * IFSM membership* (or willingness to apply)
* Full UK driving licence
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
* Comfortable with national travel and occasional overnight stays
* Strong communication and report writing skills
