General Manager | Manufacturing | 50 employees | Tilburg, Netherlands
An established international manufacturer is looking for a General Manager to lead its manufacturing and commercial operation in Tilburg, Netherlands.
This is a hands-on leadership role with full responsibility for a local business of approximately 50 employees, serving customers across the Benelux, Northern Germany and Northern France.
Your responsibilities
- Lead the local management team and day-to-day business operations.
- Drive business performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the site's budget, P&L and cash flow.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, suppliers and business partners.
- Support business growth by identifying new commercial opportunities.
- Lead teams across production, operations, quality, finance and support functions.
- Build an engaged, high-performing organization while continuously improving processes.
What we're looking for
We're interested in experienced leaders who enjoy running a business and staying close to both customers and operations.
You will likely bring:
- Experience as a General Manager, Managing Director or Business Unit Manager within process based industry for example chemical , plastics, food manufacturing.
OR
- Experience leading a manufacturing site in the process based industry, together with customer-facing or business development responsibilities.
In addition, you have:
- Experience managing P&L and business performance.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- A practical, hands-on management style.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
Location
Tilburg, Netherlands (on-site).
