Job Purpose
The HSSE & Training Manager is responsible for leading and managing all health, safety, security, and environmental activities to ensure full compliance with regulations and international standards. The role focuses on maintaining a safe work environment, preventing incidents, and promoting a strong safety culture through effective training and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement HSSE strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and international standards.
- Oversee risk assessments, audits, and safety inspections.
- Manage incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver HSSE training programs and awareness initiatives.
- Ensure emergency preparedness through planning and drills.
- Monitor environmental performance and ensure proper controls are in place.
- Lead and develop the HSSE team to drive a strong safety culture.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in HSE/HSSE management within industrial, aviation, fuel systems, or similar environments.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, regulations, and international standards.
- Good understanding of risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop procedures, training materials, and awareness programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
Certifications:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
- Training in Incident Investigation, Risk Assessment, Environmental Management, and Emergency Response.
