Job Summary

In this role, you'll support the design and delivery of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Instrumentation & Control (I&C) solutions for multidisciplinary engineering projects. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll gain hands-on experience in BIM, Revit, automation systems, and cross-functional coordination while contributing to high-quality technical deliverables.

This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or engineers with up to 2 years of experience who are passionate about intelligent buildings, automation technologies, and engineering design.

Responsibilities

  • Design & Documentation

  • Assist in the preparation of complete design packages for BMS and I&C systems under direct supervision.
  • Prepare BMS layouts using Revit and other 3D modeling tools.
  • Prepare control schematics, I/O lists, instruments index, and sequence of operations.
  • Prepare P&IDs, instrumentation cable block diagrams, and cable schedules.
  • Organize design files and documentation in line with BIM and CAD standards.

  • Coordination & Collaboration

  • Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, telecom, architecture, infrastructure, process, and mechanical) to define locations for instruments, DDCs, PLCs, Remote I/Os, junction boxes, power supplies, and data outlets.
  • Support interface documentation between BMS, SCADA, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Participate in internal design reviews and incorporate feedback constructively.
  • Attend site visits to gain exposure to real-world field conditions and implementation practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Controls, Electrical, or Electronics & Communications Engineering.
  • 0-2 years of experience in the design, engineering, and implementation of Building Management Systems (BMS) and/or SCADA systems or other automation systems.
  • Internship or academic project experience in engineering design, drafting, or modeling.
  • Familiarity with Revit and BIM software preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and BIM collaboration platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of control systems and automation platforms.
  • Exposure to multidisciplinary design workflows.
