This intermediate to senior role involves collaborating with engineers on the design and delivery of building electrical systems. You will utilize REVIT MEP and AutoCAD to prepare detailed drawings while ensuring adherence to national codes. A blend of remote and in-office work fosters project collaboration and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design building-related electrical systems and security solutions
• Create contract drawings, schedules, and specifications
• Produce electrical designs mainly using REVIT MEP software
• Review contractor submissions for compliance with requirements
• Conduct field surveys and site reviews for project documentation
Requirements:
• 8+ years of design experience in a consulting setting
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology required
• Familiarity with electrical, fire, and energy codes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities
