Babil Infrastructure Contracting LLC is looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical or Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Fujairah, UAE, specializing in water, wastewater, stormwater, and utility infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in utility and infrastructure projects.
- Experience or basic knowledge in one or more of the following:
- Water Distribution Networks
- Sewerage / Wastewater Networks
- Stormwater Drainage Networks
- HDPE, DI, uPVC, and GRP Pipelines
- Manholes, Chambers, and Utility Structures
- Experience in pipeline installation, manhole construction, pressure testing, drainage, and utility diversion works is preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of site supervision, quality inspections (WIR/IR), and project documentation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- UAE driving license is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily site activities.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
- Prepare WIRs, inspection requests, daily reports, and technical documentation.
- Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Assist in quantity take-offs, material coordination, and project planning.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
