Maintenance Engineer – Field Role | Neot Hovav
A true field-based role for a Maintenance Engineer with experience in a process/chemical plant.
The position involves daily on-site engineering work, troubleshooting complex failures, and leading reliability improvements for process equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot complex and recurring failures, including root cause analysis and implementation of long-term solutions
- Support and lead maintenance activities on-site to improve uptime and reduce downtime
- Improve preventive maintenance programs and overall equipment reliability
- Lead engineering projects including system upgrades and CAPEX initiatives
- Work closely with maintenance teams, operations, contractors, and suppliers
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–4 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a process/chemical plant – mandatory
- Strong hands-on field experience and proven troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience working with mechanical systems, piping, and process equipment
