Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to fill a 1st Shift opening with a Tier 1 company located new Grand Rapids, MI. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in Process Engineering and Lean.
Requirements of the Process Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
- PFMEA experience
- Ability to work unsupervised on assigned project list and complete projects on schedule.
- Experience working with robotics / industrial automation equipment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of automotive customer and their requirements

Responsibilities of the Process Engineer
- Automation equipment management
- Analyze all quality results (scrap and dimensional) and developing corrective actions.
- Prepares and presents periodic progress reports ,and develops action plan to address identified issues.
- Reports periodically on program status to plant and management.
- Work directly with customer to optimize design.
- Communicate simulation/process results with customers and management
