We are conducting a confidential search for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager with a company that is a global supplier of industrial components to the transportation, industrial, and medical device markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is based around Jackson, MI.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop new manufacturing processes to support existing products and new product launches
- Modify and integrate existing machinery, systems and process improvement to improve quality, increase throughput, decrease costs, and strengthen safety measures.
- Partners with Quality and Production team to simplify, reduce, inline, and automate in-process inspection
- Proactively leads CAPEX/Project Management initiatives.
- Equipment/Facility Capacity Expansion Planning.
- Overviews and coordinates the manufacturing processes/modifications/upgrades.
- Overviews and coordinates the automation processes/modifications/upgrades.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelors degree
* 3+ years experience as a Manufacturing Manager, Engineering Manager, and/or Project Manager
* Previous supervisory experience
* Strong focus on lean and continuous improvement practices
* Previous experience in assembly manufacturing is a plus
