Overview

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a skilled professional to join our In Service Operation team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada). In this role you will contribute to returning aircraft into service as planned by the customer and work within the Configuration Management and Supply Engineering & Material Anticipation team, responsible for material anticipation, configuration management and material supply during critical events.

Role

  • Evaluate part requirements to complete maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to find the best solution for each part
  • Carry out in-depth analyses of required parts, according to effectiveness and interchangeability
  • Compile relevant information from maintenance activities to propose additional inventory to support the business activities

Challenges

  • Contribute to the definition of improvement plans for issues highlighted during maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with the section chief in tracking progress of improvement plan activities
  • Propose new activities or adjustments to action plans based on governance findings
  • Investigate root causes of issues identified by governance and propose solution paths to resolve situations and avoid crisis
  • Develop synergy with Satair and suppliers
  • Ensure strategic alignment of team priorities with the organization
  • Propose long-term governance approach and contribute to long-term team development plan

Profile

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in aircraft maintenance activities
  • Strong knowledge of issues encountered during maintenance visits
  • Ability to use engineering documentation such as AMP, IPDP, and ASRP
  • Experience with SAP, Catia, and Enovia (asset)
  • Experience at Airbus and/or on the A220 and/or in customer services (strong asset)
  • Process‑oriented and experience incorporating new ways of working
  • Structured in tracking activities
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, transverse project environment
  • Strong priority management and ability to overcome setbacks
  • Promotes teamwork, acts with leadership, and demonstrates customer focus and integrity
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in French and English, treating people with respect
  • Demonstrates innovation, commitment, perseverance, care for people development, and values everyone’s contribution
