Majd Yanbu Industrial Company is a joint venture between Elsewedy Cables and Alfanar Electrical Systems, building a state-of-the-art copper rod manufacturing facility in Yanbu Industrial City with a production capacity of 120,000 MT/year. As we approach commercial production, we are building a high-caliber engineering team to drive operational excellence from day one.
What You'll Do
▸ Design, review, and maintain mechanical systems including piping, pumps, compressors, HVAC, and utility equipment across the plant
▸ Support installation, commissioning, and startup of mechanical equipment for the copper rod production line
▸ Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all rotating and static equipment
▸ Perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures and drive continuous improvement initiatives
▸ Coordinate with contractors and vendors during construction and equipment commissioning phases
▸ Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, or relevant industrial mechanical standards
▸ Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and engineering documentation
What We're Looking For
▸ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
▸ 3–6 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
▸ Solid knowledge of mechanical systems: rotating equipment, piping, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels
▸ Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus
▸ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
▸ Proficiency in AutoCAD or other mechanical design tools is an advantage
