Job Summary
IDLC Finance PLC is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, branches, and corporate offices. The Engineer will ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance network operations while supporting business-critical applications, cybersecurity initiatives, and digital transformation projects.
Job Responsibility
- Design, implement, administer, and optimize enterprise network, server, data center, and cybersecurity infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance operations.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices, servers, storage systems, operating systems, enterprise applications, and security solutions.
- Implement and support automation, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Analyze infrastructure and network performance trends, conduct capacity planning, prepare operational and management reports, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, security events, and service health, ensuring 24×7 operational continuity and compliance with organizational, regulatory, and security requirements.
- Perform incident response, root cause analysis, problem management, performance tuning, and resolution of complex infrastructure and network issues within agreed service levels (SLAs).
- Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams, technical documentation, configuration standards, policies, and operational procedures.
- Manage technology procurement and vendor management activities, including technical requirement analysis, specification development, BOQ preparation, vendor evaluation and selection, contract and SLA management, budget optimization, and technology lifecycle planning.
Job Requirements
Educational Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, EEE, or a related discipline from a recognized university. Candidates with equivalent qualifications and relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Professional certifications and training in Network, System, DevOps, and Infrastructure Management will be considered an advantage.
Experience Requirements
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network, systems, and infrastructure management.
Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal & negotiation skill. Should be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of loans & loan processing. Should be skilled at financial calculation & database management.
- Should also have knowledge in operations, policies, procedures and recovery system of a financial institution.
- Must have good knowledge of Financial Acts & Litigation Procedure as well as regulatory policies.
- Literacy on Microsoft Office is a must.
