A nationally recognized mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Operations Manager to lead and grow a rapidly expanding regional division serving the Phoenix Arizona and surrounding areas.

The Opportunity
As the Mechanical Operations Manager, you will provide executive oversight for multiple projects and project teams while managing the overall operational and financial performance of the regional business. You'll partner closely with executive leadership to execute growth strategies, develop high-performing teams, strengthen client relationships, and ensure every project is delivered safely, profitably, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all regional mechanical construction operations across multiple concurrent projects.
- Provide executive oversight for project startup, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project execution.
- Manage the regional division's P&L, ensuring profitability, forecasting accuracy, and financial accountability.
- Develop and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership to build a high-performing organization.
- Establish operational strategies that improve productivity, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with estimating, preconstruction, engineering, fabrication, and executive leadership to support project success and business growth.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with owners, general contractors, developers, and key industry partners.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across all operations.
- Ensure projects consistently meet company standards for safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive mechanical construction leadership experience.
- Proven experience managing operations for large commercial, industrial, healthcare, semiconductor, mission-critical, or data center projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, piping, process systems, and mechanical construction methodologies.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar project portfolios and regional operations.
- Experience with P&L management, forecasting, budgeting, staffing, and operational planning.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational execution and long-term business growth.
