Role Description
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our growing team at HT Global Circuits. This role is critical in ensuring high product quality, strong supplier performance, and continuous improvement across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Quality & RMA Management
- Handle customer complaints and drive timely resolution
- Manage RMA (Return Material Authorization) process end-to-end
- Lead root cause analysis (8D / corrective actions) and ensure preventive actions are implemented
- Act as the main quality interface between customers and internal teams
2. Supplier Quality Coordination
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Monitor supplier performance (PPM, yield, response time)
- Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement with suppliers
- Support supplier development and qualification activities
3. Factory Performance & KPIs
- Track and analyze factory quality performance metrics (PPM, OTD, complaints ratio)
- Develop and maintain quality dashboards and reports
- Identify gaps and implement improvement actions
4. Factory Audits & Qualification
- Conduct supplier and factory audits (process, system, capability)
- Support qualification of new suppliers and technologies
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (IPC, UL, etc.)
5. Internal Audit & Continuous Improvement
- Manage document control and QMS adherence.
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma mindset)
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, and Operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in PCB industry or electronics manufacturing is a plus
- Strong knowledge of quality tools (8D, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis)
- Familiarity with IPC-A-600, IPC-6012, and AS9100 standards is preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills
