Candidate Requirements:
- Have a background in Construction Project Management (PMC).
- Have 6+ years of experience.
- Experience should be in the same required field.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Directly responsible for preparation of the master schedule of the project including all milestone activities for pre-design, design, tender and award, construction, and completion activities.
- Directly responsible for the development of the design schedule, pre-bid schedules, shop drawing and submittal schedule, separate contract schedules and occupancy schedules.
- Direct responsibility for preparation of monthly narrative, cost, schedule and financial reports, submission, and distribution of same.
- Preparation and support for development of CPM schedules and precedence diagrams for design, and the separate design and construction contract packages.
- Review contractor's schedules and updates and advise the Managers and Superintendents of critical activities in the design and construction schedules.
- Assist the Managers of Design, Construction and Superintendents with activity sequencing and resource allocation.
- Assist in evaluation of tenders to determine that separate contractor schedules, and any qualifications to those schedules meet overall project time requirements.
- Provide recommendations when actual progress deviates from scheduled progress so that work may be re-scheduled or accelerated to provide for on-time completion.
- Conduct analysis of alternatives and options in the programming of the works to allow "what if" considerations where market fluctuations, implementation of changes, and/or unanticipated events impact the design and construction schedule.
- Participate in coordination meetings as required.
- Perform any other task assigned to him within the limits of his job duties and responsibilities.
Education Requirements:
- BSc in Engineering (Civil or Architecture Department), or BSc in Construction Management.
- Fluent in English Language (Reading, Writing and Speaking).
Qualifications:
- PMP.
- PRMG.
- IPMA.
Required Skills:
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Strong Contractual Knowledge.
- Strong Numerical and Analytical Skills, with proven experience in Microsoft Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
- Excellent Time Management Skills, with proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- High Attention to Detail.
- Ability to Work with the Team.
