KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop process design for onshore Oil & Gas facilities (offshore experience skills considered a plus).
- Prepare:
- Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
- Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Heat & Material Balances (H&MB)
- Perform sizing and selection of main process equipment, including:
- Separators, vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors
- Prepare and verify process datasheets and technical specifications.
- Develop technical documentation such as:
- Line lists
- Equipment lists
- Utility consumption summaries
- Process descriptions and operating manuals
- Support:
- HAZID / HAZOP studies
- Process safety and risk assessment activities
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (piping, electrical, instrumentation, safety).
- Provide technical support during clarification meetings with clients and suppliers.
- Support construction and commissioning activities when required.

Technical Requirements
- Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in a process design role within the Oil & Gas or industrial plant engineering sector.
- Good knowledge of:
- Process engineering principles
- Oil, gas, water treatment and utilities systems
- International codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO)
- Ability to develop and interpret PFDs and P&IDs.
- Experience with process simulation software (preferred):
- Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus
- Good command of technical English.
- Italian language skills considered a plus.

- High level of accuracy and reliability.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
Languages
- English: technical working proficiency (engineering documentation and project communication).
- Italian language skills considered a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in international EPC projects.
- Background in brownfield engineering and revamping projects and upstream.
- Participation in HAZOP studies (as designer or scribe).
