Role Description
The Process Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bandar Baru Bangi. This role involves designing, optimizing, and monitoring production processes for BOPP and LLDPE film manufacturing to ensure safety, efficiency, and product quality. The Process Engineer will analyze process data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes in collaboration with production, maintenance, and quality teams. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting process issues, supporting scale-up of new products, updating process documentation and SOPs, and contributing to continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives. The role also requires adherence to safety and environmental standards and participation in cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering related fields.
- Experience at least 2-3 years in Manufacturing/Operations.
- Strong leadership skills, high learning capability & critical thinking.
- Experience in plastics, polymer processing, or flexible packaging manufacturing is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in Bandar Baru Bangi and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental standards relevant to industrial manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to document processes and present technical findings clearly.
