Production Planning Manager Jobs in Bang Yai district, Nonthaburi, Thailand at TYK Glass
Title: Production Planning Manager
Company: TYK Glass
Location: Bang Yai district, Nonthaburi, Thailand
Company Description
TYK Glass is one of Thailand's leading architectural glass processors, supplying premium facade, interior, and storefront glass to projects across Southeast Asia and beyond. We are investing in our people, our systems, and our production capability — and we are looking for the operational leaders who will help us scale.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Planning Manager (หัวหน้าแผนกวางแผน) based at our factory in Bang Yai, Nonthaburi, Thailand (opposite Central Westgate).
The Production Planning Manager leads the Planning Section within our Production Department and owns the end-to-end production planning process. This is the role that turns customer orders into a manageable factory schedule — balancing capacity, yield, raw material availability, and competing priorities across multiple sales channels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the Planning team — setting expectations, coaching, and holding people accountable for performance
- Reviewing and maintaining rolling capacity plans across all production lines; protecting capacity for confirmed project orders while leaving controlled space for standard work
- Reviewing and confirming production due dates for Sales — turning customer-requested delivery dates into realistic, achievable commitments
- Directing the team to optimize glass cutting plans and drive yield improvement
- Coordinating with the sales team on capacity, urgent insertions, and trade-offs
- Following up with Purchasing and Warehouse on raw material readiness
- Tracking NG (defects) caused by planning decisions and driving them to zero
- Building team capability on ERP and optimization tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Production Management, or a related technical field
- Experience in production planning, master scheduling, or PPC (Production Planning & Control)
- Advanced Analytical Skills to assess data and develop efficient production strategies
- Genuine people-management ability — you have led a team, coached underperformers, and addressed performance issues rather than absorbing the work yourself
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is highly recommended
- We are looking for someone with strong service mind, comfort with healthy disagreement, and genuine interest in growing with the business
