About the Opportunity
Tier One Recruitment is supporting a specialist civil infrastructure business delivering engineering teams into major projects across Australia.
This group embeds experienced engineers directly into live construction environments, working alongside Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors on complex infrastructure projects.
Current work includes:
- Roads and highways
- Bridges and structures
- Bulk earthworks and large-scale civil packages
- Transport infrastructure upgrades
This is delivery-focused work, site-based, hands on, and aligned with major project outcomes.
The Roles
We are hiring across multiple levels:
- Senior Project Engineers
- Project Engineers
- Site Engineers
You will be deployed across major projects throughout Queensland.
Non-negotiable:
You must be willing to travel and work across regional and metro QLD, with potential crossover into NSW depending on project demand.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engineering outcomes across civil infrastructure projects
- Manage on-site construction activities and engineering coordination
- Interface with subcontractors, site teams and stakeholders
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
- Review drawings, manage RFIs and resolve technical issues
- Support planning, cost tracking and reporting
Senior roles:
- Lead packages or sections of works
- Drive programme, commercial and technical performance
- Mentor junior engineers
Experience Required
- Civil Engineering qualification
- Experience as a Senior Project Engineer, Project Engineer or Site Engineer
- Proven delivery experience on live civil construction projects
Background across:
- Roads and highways
- Bulk earthworks
- Pavements
- Drainage and utilities
- Structural and bridge works
Tier 1 / Tier 2 contractor experience highly regarded.
