A growing manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead plant quality operations and drive continuous improvement throughout the facility.
This is not a desk-only management role. You'll spend significant time on the production floor working with manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and the quality team to improve processes and ensure product quality.
Responsibilities
• Lead all plant quality operations
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System
• Support ISO and IATF 16949 compliance initiatives
• Manage supplier quality, customer quality, and production quality
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Oversee nonconforming materials and quality documentation
• Drive continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing operation
• Supervise and develop the quality team
Qualifications
• 5+ years of quality leadership experience within manufacturing
• ISO quality systems experience required
• IATF 16949 experience preferred
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience leading customer and supplier quality initiatives
• Strong knowledge of corrective actions, root cause analysis, audits, and quality systems
