We are expanding our business capabilities to support Myanmar’s growing solar and renewable energy sector. To strengthen our commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable solar solutions, we are looking for a talented Regional O&M Engineer (Solar) to join our team and contributing to meaningful clean-energy projects across the country.

Job Description:

  • Monitor the O&M operator to ensure regular O&M services are performed daily.
  • Provide technical support for all O&M sites, including system and component checks for inverters, controllers, solar panels, and other related equipment.
  • Prepare O&M reports for visited sites on time and submit them to the Assistant O&M Manager.
  • Monitor daily operations such as panel cleaning, system checks, rectifications, and other activities related to regular O&M services.
  • Guide and instruct operators to follow maintenance SOPs and operational guidelines for all sites.
  • Oversee the uptime and operation of C&I and mini-grid sites.
  • Ensure plant meters and household meters are properly connected with EDAT for online monitoring.
  • Identify system issues and plan corrective maintenance schedules accordingly.
  • Analyze system performance and implement predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Respond to emergency callouts from site operators when required.
  • Manage site operators’ performance and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Engage with local communities by providing training and support for system operation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Document site activities and report mini-grid site progress on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in solar project engineering, construction management, and site operations.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, electrical engineering principles, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects across various locations.
  • Willingness to travel to remote locations for on-site management.
