Hiring: Research & Development (R&D) Manager – Home Appliances
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Research & Development (R&D) Manager to lead product development and innovation initiatives within our Home Appliances division. The role will focus on developing and improving Semi-Automatic Washing Machines, Air Coolers, and Dryers, while driving New Product Development (NPD) and delivering high-quality, market-ready products.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end Research & Development activities from concept generation to production implementation
Drive new product development (NPD), product enhancement, and innovation initiatives
Design, develop, validate, and optimize products for performance, reliability, quality, and cost efficiency
Lead prototype development, testing, validation, pilot runs, and production readiness activities
Analyze product performance and implement engineering improvements and design modifications
Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth product commercialization
Evaluate components, materials, and technical specifications to enhance product competitiveness
Develop and maintain technical documentation including product specifications, BOMs, validation reports, and engineering standards
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, quality, and safety requirements
Lead value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives
Build and strengthen internal R&D capabilities and support technical development across teams
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred)
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Research & Development / Product Development within the Home Appliances Manufacturing Industry
Proven experience managing product development projects and leading technical teams
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, testing methodologies, manufacturing processes, and engineering change management
