Houston, TX | Full-Time | $65K–$110K
Our client is a Design & Drafting Group, a leader in engineered modular systems supporting the rapidly growing data center and industrial infrastructure markets. Join a company designing innovative solutions for one of today's fastest-growing industries.
We're looking for experienced SolidWorks Designers to create production-ready 3D models and manufacturing drawings for mechanical equipment, piping systems, and structural assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Produce fabrication and manufacturing drawings
- Design skid-mounted equipment and piping layouts
- Interpret P&IDs and engineering documentation
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams
- Support projects from concept through manufacturing
Qualifications
- SolidWorks experience required
- Mechanical design experience
- AutoCAD preferred
- Experience with piping, weldments, skids, or industrial equipment
- Knowledge of manufacturing drawings and BOMs
- Industrial, HVAC, or plant design experience preferred
