A leading technology company in the aerospace industry is looking for a System Engineer to join the development of advanced UAV systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of software- and hardware-intensive UAV systems, from solution definition and requirements engineering through integration, testing, and customer delivery.
- Lead complex system integrations involving payloads, subsystems, sensors, and third-party products.
- Define requirements for various system components and prepare system specifications and design documentation.
- Drive development and integration activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams, including airborne software, Command & Control software, simulators, software verification, electronics, and additional engineering disciplines.
- Support system validation, troubleshooting, and operational testing activities.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- M.Sc. in Systems Engineering – an advantage.
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a System Engineer in multidisciplinary software- and hardware-intensive systems.
- Engineering development experience in one or more of the following areas: software development, electrical design, or flight control systems.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, and communication protocols.
- Experience in the aerospace or autonomous vehicles industry – an advantage.
- Military background in UAV-related units (Operations, Technical, or Engineering roles) – an advantage.
- High level of English proficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership capabilities, process management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
