A leading technology company in the aerospace industry is looking for a System Engineer to join the development of advanced UAV systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of software- and hardware-intensive UAV systems, from solution definition and requirements engineering through integration, testing, and customer delivery.
  • Lead complex system integrations involving payloads, subsystems, sensors, and third-party products.
  • Define requirements for various system components and prepare system specifications and design documentation.
  • Drive development and integration activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams, including airborne software, Command & Control software, simulators, software verification, electronics, and additional engineering disciplines.
  • Support system validation, troubleshooting, and operational testing activities.
  • Requirements

    • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • M.Sc. in Systems Engineering – an advantage.
    • At least 3 years of proven experience as a System Engineer in multidisciplinary software- and hardware-intensive systems.
    • Engineering development experience in one or more of the following areas: software development, electrical design, or flight control systems.
    • Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, and communication protocols.
    • Experience in the aerospace or autonomous vehicles industry – an advantage.
    • Military background in UAV-related units (Operations, Technical, or Engineering roles) – an advantage.
    • High level of English proficiency.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership capabilities, process management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
