TIME Bicycles – President Jobs in United States at TIME Bicycles

Title: TIME Bicycles – President

Company: TIME Bicycles

Location: United States

Job Opportunity: President – TIME Bicycles

Reports To: Tony Karklins, CEO of Cardinal Cycling Group / TIME Bicycles

Location: Remote / North America or Europe based

Type: Full-Time, Executive

The Strategic Philosophy: Single-Minded Focus

As TIME Bicycles accelerates its global footprint, we are structurally separating brand management from industrial manufacturing. By introducing the role of President, we are creating a position designed to wake up every single morning with one solitary focus: growing the TIME brand globally.

By handing off the complexities of factory operations, composite engineering, and production to the parent company (Cardinal Cycling Group), the incoming President is completely liberated from industrial manufacturing. TIME Bicycles will operate as a "key customer" of our European factory. This allows the President to channel 100% of their energy into full commercial and operational ownership of the brand.

"The global supply chains are shifting, and the window for our expansion of Western production is now. By adding this new President with 100% TIME brand focus, this enables us the ability to shift Tony's focus to technology enhancement, advanced OEM product development, and Western manufacturing expansion across both our European and US facilities."

Cardinal Cycling Group Board

The Role

As the President of TIME Bicycles, you will own the brand's operational P&L and drive the execution of our sales, marketing, product direction, and operations.

This position is not about chasing reckless, aggressive volume. It is about executing sustainable, premium, multi-channel growth. Your central mission is to lead the deliberate evolution of TIME from a premium frameset supplier into a focused, highly prestigious global boutique bicycle brand.

We need a field general—not a corporate meeting holder. We want an execution-focused executive who can drop in on day one, absorb the brand's DNA, and make an immediate impact. You will work closely with the CEO, Tony Karklins, during the initial transition phases, systematically taking full operational control of the TIME brand throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Premium Multi-Channel Growth: Protect and expand our premium position across all channels (IBD networks, international distribution, and premium direct-to-consumer). Prioritize sustainable revenue and brand equity over raw unit volume.
  • Brand Evolution Execution: Orchestrate the transition of the brand from a frameset specialist into a complete, premium bike brand lineup, ensuring every product touchpoint matches our legacy of elite engineering.
  • Marketing & Brand Positioning: Elevate TIME’s global brand voice. Keep our messaging disciplined and focused around our premium heritage, technical superiority, and our commitment to fit, adjustability, and beautiful simplicity.
  • Product Direction & Design: Establish the brand's future product roadmap. Lead the industrial design, aesthetic identity, geometry specifications, and market targeting for new product launches, serving as the internal champion for the rider's experience.
  • Brand Operations & Factory Alignment: Oversee day-to-day brand operations, execution, and P&L efficiency. Act as the primary interface to our parent company's manufacturing division, ensuring that product designs seamlessly hand off to corporate R&D for engineering, prototyping, and planned production.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a definitive cycling insider who lives in the field, not in a conference room.

  • Proven Premium Cycling Leadership: You must have a demonstrable track record of successfully leading or scaling a premium, high-end cycling brand with an understanding of boutique market dynamics.
  • A True Field General: You are an execution-focused leader who builds momentum through action. You prefer direct impact, clear communication, and fast execution over endless corporate alignment meetings.
  • The "Scrappy" Mindset: You excel in entrepreneurial, agile environments. You know how to build a business intentionally, optimize existing resources, and generate revenue momentum before scaling investment.
  • No "Big Corporate" Baggage: If you rely on massive corporate structures, bloated budgets, or rigid enterprise hierarchies to force investment before revenue, this is not the role for you.
  • Global Vision, Local Agility: While you can be based anywhere in the world, you possess the cross-cultural business acumen required to manage a brand that spans global market growth and premium Western manufacturing assets.

What We Offer

  • The rare opportunity to take full operational control and carefully shape the global future of one of cycling’s most iconic, legacy brands.
  • A collaborative, fast-paced executive environment working in direct partnership with ownership.
  • Competitive executive compensation package including performance-based incentives.
  • Flexible, work-from-anywhere global structure.
