Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead complex engineering and product development projects. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, solve technical challenges, and ensure projects are completed successfully. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading teams in a matrix organization and can manage multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex engineering and product development projects from planning through completion.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other business functions.
- Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and ensure projects stay on track.
- Manage project budgets, including capital expenditures (CapEx) and overall project costs.
- Identify technical issues and develop effective solutions with minimal supervision.
- Supervise project team members and ensure successful collaboration across departments.
- Communicate project status, risks, and progress to stakeholders and leadership.
- Apply engineering knowledge and best practices to support project success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 8 10 years of engineering or engineering project management experience.
- 2 5 years of experience leading teams in a matrix (cross-functional) organization.
- Experience managing engineering or product development projects.
- Strong project planning, budgeting, and cost management skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience leading New Product Development (NPD) or Product Development projects.
- Strong stakeholder and cross-functional team management experience.
- Knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines.
- Experience working in a fast-paced engineering environment.
